Position Title: Part-time Technical Trainer /Lecturer

Position Summary:

Under direction from the Program Director and or lead trainer(s), the individual shall perform some or all of the following duties:

  1. Teach and examine courses through lecturing and supervision of the students
  2. Provide leadership in various fields of the course involved
  3. Monitor student progress during training
  4. Provide support and advice to enable students excel in their studies
  5. To promote relevant subject research and recommendations
  6. Manage relationships with all key stakeholders in the college
  7. Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
  8. Is thoroughly familiar with the academic freedom and professional responsibility statement and adheres to these policies.
  9. Maintain desirable and safe classroom conditions

Desired Qualifications:

A bachelor’s /advanced degree in the subject matter or a closely related area and two years of teaching or closely related professional experience.

  2. Knowledge of evaluation of instruction, curriculum development, program development and evaluation.
  3. Thorough knowledge of appropriate field of study.
  4. Extensive knowledge of subject matter and course content of classes to be taught, instructional strategies and techniques.
  5. Skill in public speaking and report writing.
  6. Skill in using current technology.
  7. Effective human relations skills and communication techniques.
  8. Ability to apply effectively general principles to specific conditions.
  9. Ability to follow written and oral procedures and instructions.
  10. Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and administrators from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
